FUEL:AVAILABLE FROM YOSU SAME AS MOGPO,MOPPO, 韩国商港。位于朝鲜半岛西南端务安小半岛之顶角，港市之东南，西临南黄海。北距群山港110海里，至仁川港187海里；西至中国的烟台港310海里，青岛港324海里，连云港港355海里，上海港376海里；南距济州港94海里，东距丽水港151海里，釜山228海里。港口外有罗州群岛等众多岛屿为屏障，风平浪静，但出入航道曲折。港内潮汐属不规则半日型，平均潮高大潮3.8米，低潮0.5米，水位涨落还受木浦湾纳入的荣山河涨落影响。务安半岛和花源半岛正供卫着木浦湾，港口正处在湾口北岸。木浦港1887年开港，当时码头简陋，仅由两座小木船码头。经百余年的发展，目前建有岸壁码头600米，驳船码头940米；岸外，海峡中有9个锚地泊位，其中6个是万吨级泊位以上，水深11－21米，供过驳装卸用。80年代韩国政府批准在此建有一座煤码头，有3个泊位，最大能靠泊3万吨级船舶。另外还有护岸3400米和12座浮栈桥。该港起着附近群岛海运中心的作用。港内码头有：露天堆场1.5万平方米，可贮煤3.7万吨；仓库5座，总容量1万吨，冷藏能力3000吨。目前该港10多个岸壁和浮筒泊位，年吞吐量约1万吨，冷藏3000吨。目前该港10多个岸壁和浮筒泊位，年吞吐量约220万吨，约为1976年的5倍，是全罗南道的海上门户之一，有定期航线通仁川和釜山港，目前大佛工业港，已有3000－5000吨级泊位13个，还建有30个1－5万吨级泊位。

The Port of Mokp抩 is on the southwestern coast of South Korea on the tip of the Muan Peninsula. It is the door to the country's largest granary, the Honam Plain. When Korea was annexed by Japan in 1910, the Japanese renamed it Mokp抩-bu. When Korea won independence from Japan, it was again renamed Mokp抩 City. Mokp抩 is the hometown of President Kim Dae-jung.
Port History
From the 14th to 20th Centuries, the Port of Mokp抩 was a navy base for the Choson (Yi) dynasty. Opened to foreign trade in 1879, it was redeveloped in 1955 when harbor facilities were expanded. With over 1400 islands in the area, the coastal sea is a rich fishing ground. Mokp抩 is home to industries manufacturing marine products and salt chemicals.
One of the biggest cities in Korea until the late 1970s, the city suffered from political struggles within Korea. But since Kim Dae-jung was elected, Mokp抩 has once again seen development.
Port Commerce
The Mokp抩 Regional Maritime Affairs and Port Office manages the Port of Mokp抩. The port offers over 5.8 kilometers of quay, and its warehouses can handle over 460 thousand tons of cargo.
The Samhak Wharves can berth four ships up to 30 thousand tons that carry grains, coal, and general cargo. Combined length is 793 meters, and the wharves have a capacity to handle 1.3 million tons of cargo a year. The Dawbul Wharves, dedicated to cargoes from the Daebul industrial complex, contain three piers with a total length of 630 meters and can handle 1.9 million tons of cargo a year. The Port of Mokp抩 contains exclusive wharves for handling cement, oil, and iron. These four piers have a combined length of 1037 meters and can handle almost 4 million tons of cargo a year.
Cruising and Travel
The Port of Mokp抩 Passenger Wharves receives 84 visits per day for travelers to and from Jeju and Hongdo.
